I’m a bit overwhelmed at how many different routes today’s online marketers have when it comes to finding the right credit card payment processing solutions for their sites:

  • Merchant Account
  • PayPal
  • MoneyBookers
  • Google Checkout
  • Others?

My research started there – looking at “real” merchant account options Vs all of the other “easy” to set up PayPal like systems out there.  However, searching for the Pros Vs Cons among these seems to have left me with even more questions than I had before… and looking through our records, I quickly found that we get asked the same question time and time again from our users and their clients starting out in the online marketing world:  “- should I use PayPal or are there better options out there?”

To find out, I’ve decided to test each of them out by having some of our clients put each of them to work in real life scenarios and report back to us their findings – good or bad, be sure we’ll continue this comparison report and share which service option got our vote and highest score overall - will it be the widely known PayPal? MoneyBookers?  or the newest player on the block: Google CheckOut?   Will any of these three come close to having a so called “real” Merchant Account?

How about your past experiences with these?  Please let us know !  We value your feedback and welcome any input you may have on either of these.  And remember, we need all feedback, so good or bad, sending us your personal experiences or any background or insider info you can share may get you a crisp $50 bill if we like it enough to publish.
